Healthy Ferrero Rocher-Inspired Snack Balls – Kid & Parent Friendly
Intro:
“As full-time working parents, we’re always looking for snacks that feel like a treat but keep us guilt-free. With school runs, after-swim hunger, and busy evenings, we needed something quick, healthy, and delicious. These snack balls became a family project — even my husband got involved — and now they’re a favorite for lunchboxes and after-school cravings.”
Ingredients:
- Mixed nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, cashews)
- Seeds (chia, flax, or sunflower)
- Peanut butter (or almond butter)
- Dark chocolate (melted)
- Oats (optional)
- Honey or maple syrup
Method:
Step 1:
Grind nuts and seeds until coarse. We used a simple Dr MILLS food grinder that makes blending nuts super easy.
Step 2:
Mix with nut butter + honey until dough forms. A set of mixing bowls helps keep prep simple.
Step 3:
Roll into small balls.
Step 4:
Dip in melted dark chocolate.
Step5:
Chill in fridge until set. We love storing these in SISTEMA snack containers for school lunchboxes.
